Zaiaku simply sat on the bed, as he has been doing for most of the day. He was currently covered in a blanket to keep himself warm and was staring at nothing in particular. The area around was dark, only illuminated by the various candels placed about. Kodo lay next to the bed, awake as well, and quiet. Inside his head, his mind kept replaying the events over and over again. Apparently, a woman found the trio on the street in-front of their home and, seeing as there was a child, took them in. Her husband was supposedly a retired medic and managed to help Zaiaku through the hypothermia before taking Zaigou to the next room. Then, Zaiaku woke up, the woman came in, and explained what happened. But that's just it. How could this have happen? Every time he questioned Kodo about Tiger, Kodo simply winced and shook his head, which was a clear gesture that Tiger was no longer with them. But...how? Why? Before he could continue questioning himself further, the doctor came in. "The boy...is not in a very critical condition anymore." He said, looking at Zaiaku with worried eyes. "But, he will not survive if he doesn't see a hospital soon." With that, he turned away and left, not saying anything else, leaving Zaiaku to his thoughts. He...they..had to leave. Now. Thus, as soon as the man, Zaiaku stood and quietly made his way to his son's room. Zaigou was covered in a blanket and bandages, either asleep or unconcious. Being as gentle as he could, he picked him up like a infant and wrapped him in the blanket for warmth before going back to his room and fastening his blanket around him like a cloak.
Sharing a exchange of stares with Kodo, he nodded and opened the window, climbing out the house and quickly running, with Kodo following in suite. Zaiaku knew, despite the village being like..like this, there were still some shipments of foods going on. Including to Yokuchi. Remembering where the man put his caravan when they first arrived, he ran to that area, finding to be boarding it and riding it away. Determination on his face, Zaiaku sprinted and jumped inside the back of it, Kodo following him, before it got too fast. The ride was, of course, uneventful, but nonetheless, Zaiaku remained awake, holding his tiny son to his chest. Within a few hours, they were inside the village walls. Home, once again. Upon noticing this, he jumped out and quickly ran to the nearest hospital, slamming the door open (inadvertly breaking it off the hinges) and demanding a doctor.
