Existing outside of the control of any one country, and without a native tribal people inhabiting it, the Jungle of Ages is the last 'pure' place in the world, or so many believe. Hidden deep within it's tropical depths lie secrets that could shake the very foundations of the world.

Located to the south and east of Fubukigakure no Sato, the Three Bands is a place unlike any in the world. Only here can you find the conflux of three completely different and totally opposite biomes, each bordering the other in stark contrast that gives the region a unique beauty. To the south and west is a volcanic wasteland, bordered by rivers of acid and glowing hot magma. To the south and east is the northern edge of the great central plains, the grasslands that surround and separate the central countries from each other. In the north, the edge of the tundra and glacial mountains, forever covered in snow and ice, with only the single road which leads to Fubukigakure betraying that the region is inhabited.

The polar regions of the world are a harsh and unforgiving place; filled with ice, snow, and not much else. While the southern areas of the high tundra are covered in dense evergreen forests, the vast majority of this region is nothing but rocky plains covered in thick layers of snow, ice, and the occasional bit of moss during the short summer months. Only the hardiest of beasts can call this land home. Fubukigakure no Sato barely clings to life deep in this region.
