Getting Your Butt Handed to You By a Girl [Job, Invite Only]

Mission Taken: Defeat the Bandit!:

Jayr put down the newspaper she had been reading to look at the piece of paper she had just been handed: it was her newest assignment and something she had just been reading about. Lately a bandit had been holding people up at night, robbing them, and just causing general havoc. The guy seemed to be completely a night owl because he had yet to be seen during the day. He also seemed to have a favorite haunt, and kept his crimes around the same area.


“Stupid idiot is as good as caught.”, she said simply before she stood up from the chair she had been seated in. Already Jayr had a plan in mind: if she was going to catch the guy she was going to have to be a bit coy about it – she couldn't go around dressed in a uniform or otherwise showing herself as a ranked individual within Hana's military. No, this guy would likely only attack her if she looked weak and defenseless. Which of course meant that the first stop she had to make was going to be home for a quick outfit change.


Jayr headed home quickly, taking the usual fast path of short cuts and trips down alley ways: she wanted to ensure she had as much time as possible to change and be in the guy's usual haunt before night fell – she wanted to ensure that she was the target he chose tonight.


Jayr reached her house rather quickly and after unlocking the front door and stepping inside she shut the door behind herself and headed to her bedroom. She then wandered over to her closet which held the clothing that she didn't often wear: mainly any dress she owned which was exactly what she was choosing to wear for this. She opened the door and skimmed through her choices quickly, deciding on a pretty yellow sundress that had spaghetti straps. She slipped it on quickly, keeping her black shorts on to wear underneath and thankful that the skirt portion of the dress was made out of a thick enough material that they wouldn't show – she did not want to flash this guy if she ended up having to whoop his ass after all.


She ran a brush quickly through her hair and put it up in a beautifully done twist. Once satisfied that she looked like excellent bait for this would be bandit she walked back out of her room and out the front door – locking it behind her. A glance at the sky showed her that the sun was beginning to set and so she headed towards the bandits usual haunt without further adieu.

Jayr made good timing getting to one of the bandits usual haunts: something that when she would later think about it gave her the chills – it was too close to home for comfort. Jayr glanced about the street, taking notice that there weren't a lot of other people out and about – most likely due to the fact that the bandit had struck in the same area several nights in a row. Of course, this only meant that it would be easier for her to catch the guys attention.


Jayr had brought with her a purse filled with old junk she didn't care about and as she walked and the sky became darker she allowed it to spill open near the mouth of an alley way. Just like she had been hoping as she bent over and began to slowly pick up the items she heard a chuckle and footsteps to her right – echoing off of the alley way walls.


“Hello there, pretty lady. What's a girl like yourself doing out here on a night like tonight?”, the bandit asked as he made a grab for her arm.


Jayr, expecting such a normal maneuver was more than prepared. As he went to grab her she twisted, jerking away from his grip while also sending her right hand towards his face with her hand clenched in a fist. The fist struck and the bandit staggered backwards while his nose – now broken – squirted blood. “You stupid bitch!”, the bandit yelled at her. He went to lunge for her until he realized the fighting stance she had taken – realizing this was more than just a ballsy girl defending herself he began to run.


Jayr took off after him, leaving the useless scattered items behind. The bandit ran down the dark alley way and Jayr followed, being cautious in case any traps were laid out. The pair turned left with Jayr gaining ground. Before the bandit could hit the man street Jayr tackled him to the ground and after a punch that knocked him soundly she subdued and restrained him. She walked him through the streets after that without further incident, handing him over to be locked up where he belonged.
