The jewel of the desert, hiding and protecting the largest source of fresh, clean water in the entire sea of sand; The Village Hidden in the Oasis is a thriving and vibrant place. For generations it was the merchant capital of the region; funneling goods and people across the lands and keeping watch over the merchant clans.

A sea of sand larger than the rest of the continent it cuts across; the desert of Yokuchi is a harsh place to call home. Only a few animals and nomadic tribes of humans call this land home; and for good reason. Sandstorms, lack of water, and insane temperature swings make crossing even short stretches of this landscape torturous; with only the jewel of Yokuchi and the very few oasis that dot the landscape offering any relief to travelers.
