General Description: Kouki's appearance can best be described as “wild” or perhaps to a more knowing mind “tribal”.

Her hair, white-blond in color, is often worn spiked in the back with her bangs swept off to the side across her forehead: though when down it almost touches her shoulders due to its length. Eyebrows that are several shades darker then her hair are often kept trimmed thin, coming to a slight arched point near the end of her eyebrow on both sides. Kouki's skin is lightly tanned in appearance, and her body is well toned and athletic. Her bust is rather generous; D cup in size, and despite her athletic build her hips and waist still form a soft hourglass shape: giving her form a very feminine appearance.

Kouki often wears light colors when she bothers with make-up: peach colored eyeshadow, with black eyeliner done very lightly around both her bottom and top eyelid. Black mascara is also added to help accent her eyes and make their jade green color pop. Her lips are naturally a dark peach color, and therefore require no maintenance, though it gives the illusion that she is constantly wearing lipstick of some kind.

She wears some jewelry: a constant favorite of hers is the necklace she often wears that has a short chain which is covered in a series of beads in varying lengths and from which a curved tooth hangs. A pair of white colored hooped earrings hang from her bottom most lobe while the tops of her ears are pierced with several studs. The left side of her nose is pierced and has a very smell emerald colored stone in it.

Kouki's clothing choice is mainly based on her favorite past time: swimming. She wears a bikini always; usually colorful though the actual design tends to vary depending on Kouki's overall mood and feelings for that day. Over top of this is often worn some kind of short sleeved top, baggy, which hangs off of her shoulders: loose fitted clothing is of course the most comfortable for her. If not a loose fitted top then she wears a mesh style top; kept decent due to the bikini beneath. Shorts are often paired with this; all of which are light colored and vary depending on the color of her bikini and the top she chooses for that day. On a rare occasion she will pair a skirt with her top instead. When not allowed to go barefoot the standard black open toed shinobi sandals are worn.

Her village hitai-ate is often worn around her head; separating the spikes in the back from the swept over bangs in the front: where it can proudly be displayed and seen.



Personality: Kouki is wild to put it easily. She broke the mold so to speak.

She's unique and unpredictable in both her actions and words. While most people as a whole react one way over a situation she is known for reacting in a completely opposite or different manner; sometimes giving her a more rebellious out look.

She's definitely the type to think and act outside of the box; preferring to look at situations and obstacles from all angles before attempting to tackle them headfirst. This also makes her a bit of a strategist – and lends to one of her more favorite pass times when she's not busy swimming.

She's the type to always go the distance, and always push herself further and harder. She's not afraid to put the needed hard work and sweat into something to get it done and get it done right. She's more then willing to push herself past safer limits and into dangerous ones if it'll accomplish her goals faster.

Kouki is somewhat of a risk taker before her aforementioned way of doing things. She's not one to easily, if ever, turn down a challenge. Extreme sports, and challenges, are among her favorites: including such dangerous things such as cliff diving.

She's an overall nice person with a great deal of control over her temper. It takes an awful lot to get her to explode, and by that point it's best to just walk away slowly.

She takes friendship seriously, and is as loyal as they come.

While sometimes a trouble maker, she is still a goodhearted person; willing to go the extra mile to help someone out, even if they're a stranger.

She's not the type of person to sit around and watch someone else be down talked, mistreated, or bullied, and is often known for jumping into situations and handling them herself if needed. She doesn't judge people due to how open-minded she herself is, and is willing to accept everyone as they come – so long as they aren't complete assholes.

History: "Is that lazy girl up from bed, yet?"

"Mom, she left hours ago.. out skateboarding again!"

The constant call of Kouki's mother and the constant reply of her brother. Kouki was always a child to be on the go; from the time she could crawl she was already trying to run, and from the time she could run she was already trying to skateboard.

When Kouki was extremely young she spent the majority of her time skateboarding when she should have been training and learning her clan's history. She had so much energy and didn't know how to use it; so she would take off in the early hours of the morning, long before her parents even woke up, and disappear for hours at a time, sometimes all day long (and she'd end up coming back well past curfew on those days).

Due to this extreme lack of focus that the massive amounts of energy wasted, and her constant 'slacking off' Kouki began to get a reputation young; most in her clan stopped looking to her as the fresh new generation to become even stronger, and started to look at her like she was something lazy, someone not to be counted upon.

While this secretly bothered Kouki she didn't allow it to show, and as she entered into the Academy she continued to slack off; at least until a fateful day. She had skipped class again, not that that was anything new, and had ended up almost skateboarding straight in the clan head himself. After a very stern lecture which included her being told she would never amount to anything, Kouki began to change her ways.

She stopped slacking off, and stopped skipping class. Where her grades had been D's and F's, they became straight A's. While she had been the one to stay in the back of the class, head down and hand never rising, she became the star student at the front of the class with her hand constantly in the air and an answer to every question on her lips. Due to this sudden burst of motivation caused by the clan head's words she turned her Academy life completely around. She started training and practicing after school instead of slacking off and spending countless hours with her friends.

She became well versed in not only the Fuuinjutsu that her clan was famous for but Taijutsu as well. Practice and training exercises were a breeze, and she quickly became known as the student no one wanted to go up against because she wasn't like ordinary girls; she didn't flinch back from pain or refuse to fight; she fought hard and defended herself even harder. She was a force to be reckoned with; besting most of the boys in her class with ease, and using her mind trick and stump those into failing who were far too big for her to handle with brute force alone.

It wasn't long before she graduated, stepping into her 'new' life as a Genin.

Her life as a Genin didn't last long - though she was quickly placed into a squad under a sensei known as Mizuko. Tragedy struck fairly early when a large beast had descended upon the minor village she lived in with her family and slaughtered everyone within it. Kouki had been in the outskirts, off riding her skateboard in parts unknown when the attack had happened. But, the silence it had caused was unnerving. She had rushed back as quick as her board would carry her to find the cooked charred remains of her family, friends, and fellow villagers.

In shock she moved like a ghost through the village, gathering up those she knew and burying them. To this day she still doesn't know the significance of it all, but it was something she had been drawn to to do at the time - even if running would have been the smartest of options for a lonely Genin such as herself.

She stuck around the village only as long as she could stand it - which is to say not long at all - before venturing out into the world. She found herself struggling to keep her composer, lashing out at things with wild swings of emotions she had never felt at those extremes. When days of this turned into weeks and then to months she took to drinking. A bottle a day increased to more as she began to give up hope of seeing any sort of survivor left over from the village she once called home.

She went where her feet took her, not staying long at all in one village or another, nor attempting to draw much attention to herself. As the years progressed so did her drinking - the moments of her being sober becoming less and less as time went on. Training became something of the past, and she allowed herself to go so to speak, doing only what was absolutely needed to survive and nothing more. Comfort was a thing of the past, something she no longer sought after nor cared for.

However, in light of more recent discoveries, mainly the fact that her sensei and another member of her village were indeed alive, and that she was no longer the last remaining, Kouki has found something to actually want to live for... and a whole new reason to sober up and begin training once more.

The drinking was put to an instant stop – though the detoxing was a complete and total bitch to deal with – and Kouki once more found herself rising up through the ranks from Chuunin to Special Jounin: becoming once more a reliable source of protection for her village.

RP Sample: ”Ugh, I have to stop doing this to myself...”, Kouki muttered softly to the empty bedroom she laid in. She was staring up at the ceiling as she had been doing for nearly an hour. She still hadn't gotten out of bed to relieve her bladder, or do anything else productive. Instead, she had remained there because of the fact that her entire body felt like it had a giant heartbeat: the consequences of pushing herself far too hard in yesterday's training.

”Come on, Kouki... Up you go.”, she attempted to pep talk herself as she attempted for the fourth time that hour to sit up. A groan escaped her as the pain in her ribs spiked, but she forced the action to complete without giving in and laying back down. She turned her body, again feeling the burning sensation from her muscles, and forced her legs to dangle over the side of the bed. ”Well, I'm sitting up at least. Now to see how long it takes me to walk the fifteen feet to go take a piss...”

With a groan Kouki slid herself forward until her feet were touching the cold wooden floor of her bedroom. She forced herself to stand, the sudden and quick action causing her to sway momentarily as a vomity feeling caused her gut to clench: it reminded her way too much of her days of drinking herself unconscious for her liking.

Forcing one foot in front of the other Kouki moved forward and towards her destination...
