| Kinzoku felt the need to begin adding other techniques to his repritore, as he was so close to achieving his goal. A signature move of sorts, he decided the first of them should be an old technique called Rasengan. It was a difficult move to master, but Kinzoku had determination.
The first step was learning how to burst a water balloon by spinning the water inside in multiple directions at once using only the user's chakra, which emphasizes rotation. A crucial way to pass this method is for a person to know which is their natural chakra rotation or they run a 50/50 chance of inhibiting their training.
Getting his hands on some balloons wasn't difficult. He was cool with most of the kids around the village now, most of them had some. After filling a couple with water his training would begin. Kinzoku had found out the rotation of his chakra from his Hot Fist Taijutsu Technique, seeing as the winds and steam emitted from his arms always spun in a clockwise motion. Gripping the balloon in his right hand, Kinzoku enters a state of concentration. The waters inside moved and churned about some, before slowly beginning to spin. The balloon in his hand took weird and abnormal shapes as Kinzoku began to get the hang of spinning his energies in his palm. It took a while, but Kinzoku eventually popped the balloon. He didn't stop there though, Kinzoku wanted total mastery of this training exercise, so he picked up another water balloon. There were 10 in all, and by the 10th, Kinzoku was able to pop it almost instantly.
The second step was for the user to burst a rubber ball, and since rubber is thicker, and air is completely different from water, it forces the user to use denser chakra to break it. This step emphasizes power.
Kinzoku was able to get his hands on 3 rubber balls. This exercise was harder and took longer. He had to concentrate harder to even begin to move the ball. It took long minutes of concentration to make a slight dimple in the rubber. Slowly, the dimple began to turn into a dent. The dent slowly turned into an indentation. The indentation started to become a hole, and the ball began to twist. Kinzoku had to stop and start again, because concentrating too hard was beginning to give him a headache. The indentation started to become a hole, and the ball began to twist, and then it exploded. Kinzoku didn't stop there, as with the last exercise. The next 2 balls went by a little easier now that he had practice with it, and the last ball exploded almost immediately.
The third and final step was to combine both step one and two by spinning chakra inside a balloon without moving the balloon itself, emphasizing stability of the sphere shape.
This would probably be the hardest step, Kinzoku knew this. Spinning chakra inside of an empty balloon without letting it pop. Of course, the first balloon popped almost instantly. There weren't many balloons left, so he had to make this count. He put the fundamentals of the first 2 exercises at work here. Rotation, power. The balloon started to move and warp. Kinzoku did his best to keep it stable. The balloon went from a cone shape to something that resembled a pancake, then popped. He picked up another, and began again. Looking down, he could see that there were only 2 balloons left, so he figured he'd lucked out....
