Mission Taken – Planer Lost:

Yet another mission to be put under her belt. Kaia looked down at the mission description and then handed it to Aya: hopefully the monkey was capable of reading and therefore it saved Kaia from trying to explain it through sign language – the pair were still working on their communication skills that way. Sometimes being mute sure took its toll. The monkey read the description and then jumped up in down in place while letting out a screeching noise: she was excited to get to work – these missions were never dull for her, and that made Kaia smile.

The pair got to searching around the shop where the planer had gone missing: checking barrels, behind things, under the tables even. Halfway through they had to shoo away a cat that was taking up residence between a crate and the wall: the cat was unhappy about being moved and grumbled the entire time, but at least neither Kaia nor Aya were scratched or harmed in anyway. One the cat was back outside where it belonged they got back to searching.

Another hour into their search and Kaia looked at the shop keeps back, suddenly giggling silently – something that Aya noticed. The monkey looked too and saw it: the planer was caught on the back of the shop keeps shirt! The monkey began to let out excited noises and point, which caught the shop keeps attentions. He felt around his back, where the monkey was pointing, and got the planer unstuck. He thanked them and Kaia and the monkey left: another successful mission.
