Normal People Go Shopping On Their Day's Off....[Training. Invite Only]

”Good morning out there folks! It's seventy two degrees right now in our beautiful village of Hanagakure no Sato and the weather report for the day says it's going to be a nice one! Nothing but sunshine with a few intermittent clouds this afternoon. About seven this evening it'll start to cool down to about sixty degrees; making it perfect bonfire weather! So go on out there---” Jayr, with a soft groan, turned over in her bed and hit the shut off button located on the top of her radio alarm clock. There was one thing she liked about this new alarm, and about the time she had it set: it had a radio, and the station it was tuned to offered both the time and quick details of that days weather forecast every hour on the hour. It was perfect information to wake up to: more so for Jayr on this particular day because she planned on doing a lot of jutsu training.

Speaking of information Jayr felt like there was something she was forgetting, something that was extremely important. Something that made her feel like she was about to have an anxiety attack. But, what could it be?

Suddenly Jayr felt her bed move as if there was someone else on it, followed by a slightly wet kiss on her cheek as arms wrapped around her in a hug: the feel of bare breasts up against her arm.

Fuck.

That was right. Her and Captain Yen had drank a little too much at the bar last night, and given how far Captain Yen's house was compared to Jayr's meant that Jayr did the proper thing and invited the female to stay the night instead of having to try and walk home. Of course, they had brought a bottle back with them, and after getting even more drunk one thing had led to another... and well, they had ended up in bed together. Jayr hadn't had to worry about her father or sister seeing them sneaking in because both had been out – busy with work.

That was why her heart was now racing a mile a minute: her dad and sister were both likely home. What would happen if her father caught Captain Yen in here? She didn't know: she had never really bothered doing something like that before. But, she figured she didn't want to find out – it'd likely be embarrassing: not for Jayr but for Yen. Jayr was all too used to her father's bed partners emerging sometime during breakfast, or waking up and cooking the breakfast. So there really was nothing for Jayr to be embarrassed about, but Yen didn't know that and she didn't need to know that.

”Shit, Yen. We got to get you out of here. We overslept. My sister's probably still here, my dad too.”

Captain Yen was pouting up until Jayr mentioned her father; and then her eyes grew wide in fear and her cheeks reddened: she obviously was thinking about the awkwardness that would come from meeting the Commander General in his house, after she had spent the night with Jayr. Yeah, that got her moving. Captain Yen slipped out of the blanket, moved across Jayr since her bed was up against the wall, and to the floor where she began to pick up her clothing and slip them on as soon as both feet were on the floor.

Jayr watched, flashing back to the night before as she remembered how fun it had been to remove the Captain's clothes. But, within about fifteen seconds she was dressed and looking towards the door, biting her bottom lip. ”Come on, go out the window. My room's on the bottom floor, and it's the only window on this side of the house. No one will see you.” Jayr got up, still naked, and walked unashamed over to her bedroom window. She unlocked it, opened it, and stepped back. A grin spread across her face as she watched Captain Yen hurry out of it, look around, and then take off quickly towards her own house.

Jayr shut the window, relocked it, and then pulled the curtain after Yen was out of sight. She then leaned against her wall and reached her hands up, scratching with slightly elongated fingernails at her multi-colored hair and scalp. A luxurious groan escaped Jayr before she sighed and reopened her eyes to look around her bedroom. She needed a shower and breakfast: she had training she had planned on doing later today because it was her day off, and she didn't want to waste too much time. She was after all already burning daylight.

Jayr grabbed her green colored soft and fuzzy robe off of the hook on the outside of her closet door and quickly slipped her arms through it before wrapping it around herself and tying the sash around her waist. Once sure she wasn't flashing anyone she went over to her dresser and pulled out a blue lace bra, matching panties, a blue cami, and black shorts that would go about two inches down her thighs. With her outfit for the day folded up in her arm she went over to her bedroom door and snagged her large beach sized towel off of it before unlocking her bedroom door and opening it.

She glanced out into the hallway, glad that it was empty because she didn't feel like answering questions right at that moment, and headed across the hall and into the bathroom – catching the smell of breakfast from the kitchen: someone was definitely awake and here, cooking. Once in the bathroom Jayr shut the door behind herself and locked it before placing her clothing down on the counter. She bent down, turning on the water and making the temperature of the water a bit on the hot side. She then turned on the shower and grinned as steam instantly began to fill the air. Jayr waited a minute or two, allowing the heat from the water to warm up the bathroom a bit before she finally untied her robe, slipped out of it, and hung it up on one of the pegs on the back of the bathroom door.

She then opened the shower door, stepped in, and closed the glass sliding door behind herself. Another pleased sigh escaped the female as she stepped underneath of the hot spray and allowed the pulsating water to massage her shoulders and upper back for a moment. Not wanting to waste too much time because breakfast was obviously cooking she tilted her head back and got her rainbow colored hair nice and wet. She added a good bit of shampoo and then worked it through her hair until every strand was lathered and her scalp was scrubbed clean. She then rinsed out her hair, making sure all of the soap was out, before she added the conditioner. As soon as every inch of her hair was conditioned she allowed it to sit and absorb into her hair while she grabbed her body wash and bath poof. She got the poof wet, added a good bit of body wash, and then lathered every inch of her body; starting from her face and working her way down to the bottoms of her feet. As soon as she rinsed her bath poof she rinsed her body off very well and then finished by rinsing her hair.

Now clean she shut the water off and opened the glass door a fraction of a bit, reached out and grabbed her towel, and then brought her towel into the shower with her before closing the door: keeping the heat inside of the shower to keep herself from shivering. She rang out her hair, getting as much of the excess water out of her rainbow colored locks as she could before drying off the rest of herself: starting at her face and working her way down to the bottoms of her feet once more. Now dry she opened the shower door and stepped out, the towel wrapped around her for the moment.

Once adjusted to the different temperature outside of the shower, something that took a few seconds at most, Jayr dropped the towel and made quick work with slipping on her panties, bra, shorts, and cami. Once she was completely dressed she towel dried her hair once more and then brushed it out very well. Once she was sure it was free of knots she did a quick blow dry; keeping it free of knots as she went until her rainbow colored hair was as dry as could be. She then opened the medicine cabinet and pulled down her small make up bag. She added her usual black eyeliner around her nearly red colored eyes, then black mascara, finishing with a light pink lip stain that she then glossed over with clear gloss that tasted like green apple jolly ranchers. She put her make up back into her bag and then returned the bag to where it belonged.

She then pulled down her toothbrush and the toothpaste; making quick work of cleaning her pearly whites before rinsing, spitting, and putting that away too. Completely finished with her normal morning routine she grabbed her towel off the floor and her robe off of the back of the door peg, and exited the bathroom after unlocking the door: steam billowing out into the hallway.

Jayr stepped back into her bedroom and hung her towel back up on the peg on the back of her door. She then returned her bathrobe to the peg on the outside of her closet door. She then turned towards her very messed up bed and straightened it up; fixing the bottom sheet before straightening out her top sheet and pillow. Finally she folded up her blanket as she usually did and added it to the bottom of her bed. She glanced over to the empty rum bottle near her bed and the two glasses and glanced then over her shoulder to the doorway of her bedroom: there was no way she was getting rid of that evidence without someone noticing.

Oh well. It wasn't like she hid the fact from her family that she liked both men and women: and it wasn't like she wasn't old enough to be doing such things. She picked up the two glasses with her right hand and the bottle with her left before walking out of her bedroom, down the hall, and into the kitchen. She moved around her father who was cooking breakfast, and over to the sink where she put her two glasses. She then turned towards the garbage and deposited the empty rum bottle into it before turning her attention back to the sink. She washed the glasses thoroughly and then put them in the draining rack, all while waiting for her father to break the silence with a question, or a statement, or something.

”So, will Captain Yen be joining us for breakfast?”

Jayr paused, having been halfway towards one of the stools that lined the kitchen counter. She turned towards her father. ”No. She climbed out my window when I mentioned that Kadi and you could still possibly be home...”, Jayr answered honestly: though she couldn't figure out how her father knew who exactly had been in her room. Her father chuckled, but didn't comment further. Jayr, meanwhile, folded her arms across her chest and looked at him closely. ”How'd you know it was her?”

”I was at the bar when you arrived with her; you looked like you were having a good time so I didn't bother you. Then I saw how drunk the two of you were, and knew you'd do the right thing and let her stay here for the night to sleep it off... I followed you two when you came back here to make sure you made it home alright. I didn't come in because I figured you two likely weren't going to leave again. When I did come home I noticed one of the bottles of rum was gone... wasn't hard to figure it out. Add in the fact that Cana was locked out of your room...”

Now that Jayr heard it it did make sense: she hadn't noticed her father at all because she had been so wrapped around the other female's company. It was definitely a good thing her father had kept an eye on her: Jayr knew better then to allow herself to get so wrapped up around another individual, or so drunk, that she wasn't paying attention...

”Don't kick yourself for it, Jayr. You were off duty, and you're old enough to let loose a bit. I'm not angry with you, so don't you be angry with you.”, her father added, eying Jayr as he knew exactly what was going on inside of her head.

Jayr just shook her head and smiled: her father wasn't angry with her and he was right: she was of proper age, more than proper enough rank, and she had been off duty. No use in kicking herself in the butt. She sat down on one of the stools as her father made her a plate and passed it over to her: eggs, plenty of bacon, and hash browns. Her favorites.

”Thanks.”, Jayr said before digging in. The eggs were gone first, followed then by the bacon and finally the hash browns – she always saved the best for last. Jayr ate in silence, contemplating the days training and what all she wanted to get done: she had several scrolls containing jutsu she wanted to learn – including medical jutsu: something she had been studying for the past few years now, but that she was finally comfortable enough with trying.

”Still in your head, Jayjay?”

”Sorry. I was thinking about what all I wanted to train today.”

”You know normal people when they have a day off do fun things like going shopping, or to the park...”

”Yes, but I'm not normal.”

Her father just chuckled and finished eating his own breakfast. Jayr got up and helped her father clean up breakfast, and do the dishes before she gave him a quick hug and watched him walk out the door and obviously off to work.

Jayr walked out of the kitchen, through the living room, and back down the hallway to her bedroom. She went over to her dresser and grabbed the anklets and bracelets that were truly her armor and slipped them on. She then slipped on a pair of stockings that went halfway up her thighs and which were black in color, and then her pair of combat boots. She added on her black fingerless gloves and then turned and walked out of her room, shutting the door behind herself.

She grabbed her keys off of the hook by the door, surprised that she had actually bothered to hang them up with how drunk she had been – unless her dad did that for her, grabbed her bag that contained her training scrolls, and exited the house, locking the door behind herself. She headed then towards one of the lesser used training grounds that she knew had a pond that contained live fish: she had done her research and knew that it was a usual training method to practice on fish – it had been done for thousands of years, so she was going to start there....

Jayr walked quickly through the crowded streets: she had taken far too much time between helping Captain Yen 'escape' her house, taking a thorough shower, getting ready, and then eating breakfast, to actually beat the morning 'traffic'. By now the streets were exceptionally crowded with people rushing off at the last minute to work, going too and fro for shopping or what have you, and kids rushing off to school at the last minute in an attempt not to be late. After several minutes of having to deal with the bustle and shoving Jayr just rolled her eyes: it was time to speed this process up a little bit.

Thankful that her father had taught her at a young age how to get around without issue Jayr ran straight towards a nearby light pole. As her feet reached it she ran up it, flipped backwards, and landed on the edge of a second floor roof. From there she kept going, traveling on top of the buildings, jumping from one to another, instead of having to worry about working her way through the overly crowded morning streets.

This traveling method saved her time as she headed towards one of the less crowded parks: she figured it would be nice to get some meditation done before she tried practicing these jutsu: it would, after all, make things a heck of a lot easier. A clearer mind was more likely to help her accomplish these jutsu without trouble then a troubled mind would. Focus was the key in most things after all, especially medical ninjutsu based techniques.

Instead of taking nearly an hour like it would have been had Jayr traveled on the ground it took her only ten minutes to reach her destination by going from high place to high place, or building to building. Jayr jumped one last time, grabbed the light portion of the light pole, swung herself, and landed on a crouch. She stood slowly and stuck her hands together behind her back as she walked the last few steps through the park entrance.

She glanced around as she walked down the path, noticing that the park wasn't busy at all. An old couple was nearby feeding the birds on a bench Jayr knew that often frequented. Another couple was jogging along the path as they did every morning – stepping off of the path to move around Jayr while both saying good morning. As Jayr kept walking down the path she noticed a gardener working on cleaning up some of the beautiful flower beds: pulling weeds though a hose lay next to him so that he could water the flowers when he was done. Onward still Jayr walked, looking for the perfect spot to meditate. Keeping up the same comfortable pace she caught a small toddler whose mother was trying to convince him to actually slide down the slide instead of sitting there: the toddler was eating his fist while looking very unsure about the whole thing – he had likely had fun getting up, and had worry about getting back down.

Smiling to herself Jayr walked for another five minutes before stepping off the path and following her nose towards the scent of water and her ears towards the sound of a small water fall. She walked through a thick bunch of trees – the park was exceptionally large as parks go – and after she was free of the trees that helped hide this area from most people, she saw a waterfall and a decently sized pool of water that was crystal clear with fish swimming around in it. The pool of water was deep enough to swim in if Jayr fancied such a thing, and she couldn't help but think she might do just that later on. For now though this was a perfect spot to meditate and get her mind focused on what she needed to do.

Deciding to get comfortable, and simply because the grass looked cushioned and comfortable, Jayr slipped off her boots and thigh length stockings – putting both aside on a rock where they'd stay safe and dry. Jayr then walked over towards the edge of the pool of water while still remaining on the grass. She sat down indian style and sighed softly. She stretched her arms above her head, holding the pose for several seconds as she pulled her muscles taunt. She then dropped her arms back down slowly and rolled her head on her shoulders while closing her eyes, enjoying the feeling of her muscles loosening. Finishing this she straightened her back and rested her arms on her legs, with the palms of her hands facing up towards the sky. She could feel the warmth of the sun on her face as she closed her eyes and tilted her head back: unable to help herself from smiling. The waterfall helped to block out all of the other sounds around her, and the place truly was made perfectly for someone who was looking to meditate and clear their mind: even train really considering the area was rather large...

As Jayr continued to sit there she listened to the sounds going on around her: mainly the waterfall and the birds chirping that were nestled in the nearby trees. She allowed the scent of the pool of water to fill her nose: fresh, crisp, and clean. All in all it should have been fairly easy for Jayr to actually slip into a meditative frame of mind: she was comfortable, relaxed, and in the perfect spot. However, now that her eyes were closed and she was attempting to free her mind she couldn't help but think about last night.

She had gone to the bar with every intention of drinking some of her stress away: she didn't want to wear herself out with training if she didn't have to, and while she didn't often drink she had chosen last night to do so. On her way there she had bumped into Captain Yen who had been all for buying her a few congratulatory drinks in celebration of how well Jayr did when it came to dealing with that fire demon – word had spread like wild fire after all. One thing had led to another, which had led to even more alcohol consumption, and before either of them knew it they had ended up in Jayr's bed with both of them buck naked. Images of their time together flashed through Jayr's mind: had she been anyone else she likely would have blushed, but Jayr had trained herself not to react to sexual innuendos, let alone anything else. On top of that she was an unusually open person: so that didn't help matters any either.

After several minutes of just getting flashes of naked flesh upon naked flesh through her mind Jayr opened her eyes with a sigh: this was definitely going to be harder then it normally was. Jayr needed something to focus on, something she could use to drown out the images flashing across her minds eye in her head. The birds chirping would only do so much, but the waterfall seemed like a good place to start. So, that was what Jayr focused on. She filled her mind with the sound of the waterfall, and after getting good and deep into listening it and watching it she closed her eyes. Even though her eyelids were closed she still pictured that water coming down from rocks and down the two foot drop into the pool. She allowed this image to replay over and over again in her mind until she thought of nothing else.

Using this method she found herself relaxing completely and entering into the meditative state she wanted to be in. No more images flashed through her mind of her and Captain Yen's time together, even after she released the image of the waterfall and allowed her mind to completely clear.

Instead of the waterfall Jayr concentrated on her slowed breathing. She breathed in deeply, then breathed out slowly until her lungs were empty. She then followed the same pattern as before, relaxing and keeping her mind clear while she focused on her breathing exercise.

As Jayr continued with her meditation exercise she thought about all of the jutsu that she wanted to learn, meditating on them and knowing that that would help her learn them very easy. The first jutsu she thought about was the Zenchi Te no Jutsu which was nothing more than a minor version of the Mystical Palm Technique: it was a jutsu that was slower than its major jutsu and was meant to heal less severe injuries. It was a jutsu that would come in handy for minor burns and scraps, or less serious wounds. So Jayr allowed her mind to focus on this jutsu while continuing on with her breathing exercise.

The next jutsu that Jayr concentrated on while continuing on with her slow and relaxed breathing was her Sense Deprivation technique. It was a jutsu that would allow her to cut off a specific sense from a victim or opponent. It would also allow her to cut off more then one sense at a time. It was a jutsu that could not only be used to give her an advantage in a fight, but it could also be used to torture someone for information or for pleasure if she really wanted to get down that way. So, this was the next jutsu she allowed her mind to focus on, going over the details within her mind of both how the jutsu worked and what it did as she concentrated on meditating.

Through hitting someone in a specific point in the back of their neck she could cause all of an opponents blood to rush to their brain: every ounce of it in their body. The next jutsu for her to focus on was the Mystical Palm Technique. This was a jutsu that would allow her to heal grievous wounds. Wounds that could and would kill someone were capable of being healed through this technique. If done in a short enough spam of time limbs could even be re-healed onto someone who lost them so long as not too much time passed between the time the limb was removed and the time the healing took place. This was a jutsu that any medical professional needed to learn: and it was one that while she hoped to never have to use on the field of battle she would be glad to have in case the need rose.

As Jayr continued breathing deeply yet another jutsu entered the forefront of her mind. This was the Chakra Scalpel. It was the ability to manifest a solid scalpel through chakra into her hands. This could be used to add extra damage to Taijutsu attacks if she wished to use it as such, but was mainly used for having a scalpel without having to worry about having one on her person. Because it was made out of chakra it was far cleaner then a scalpel carried on someone's person, which meant there was less chances of infection. Plus, it was handy not to have to carry one around with her, and it gave her access to a weapon in case she would some how lose her own. So, Jayr focused and meditated on this jutsu as she kept with her deep breathing and slow exhaling techniques.

The next jutsu or technique that Jayr decided to mediate on was the Body Pathway Derangement technique. This would allow her to scramble the neurons in someone's brain and keep them from using their body properly. It could be, with trial and error, over-come but unless someone was a high ranked medic, or had enough time on their hands to accomplish such a task, it was a very effective way to stop an opponent from being able to move or even attack: excellent especially when needed to restrain someone without having to keep a hold on them. The next jutsu that Jayr decided to meditate on was yet another medical technique: the Cell Activation Technique. This particular technique was useful in helping grievous wounds to heal even faster. It was specifically useful in surgeries and was able to greatly increase the odds of survival during some procedures. It was a technique that would allow her to set up to three seals that when touched or disturbed would explode with the power and force of an explosive tag – all without her having to use her explosion release chakra to make them.

And now Jayr was getting to the harder fuuinjutsu techniques. The next one she chose to meditate on was a Beast Sealing Technique, which would allow her to do exactly what it sounded like: seal large beasts or up to 5 individuals at a time. She was sure that this was a technique she would definitely need to use in the future, though she hoped that future didn't come too soon. And so she meditated on this next while continuing on with her deep breathing exercises.

Jayr focused for a moment, mentally calculating that she had about five or so more jutsu to meditate on before she would move on to other things for the day. The sun felt stronger on her face and she knew that it must be higher up in the sky – likely noon though she didn't open her eyes to visually check te position.

She didn't want knocked out of her meditation after all, at least not yet. The peacefulness was just too lovely of a thing.

As Jayr continued on with her meditation exercise she thought over the other jutsu: mentally learning them while she did so: the Denial of Passage fuuinjutsu technique, Shadow Clone Jutsu which was a ninjutsu technique, Hiding with Camoflauge which was yet another ninjutsu technique, and finally yet another ninjutsu technique known as the Feather Stand technique. Each of the jutsu she meditated on were useful in their own way and they would be lovely jutsu to have. She knew that she would lose power with the ninjutsu techniques simply due to relying so heavily on her weapons technique abilities, but she was willing to take that decrease in power so long as she was still able to use the techniques themselves. Since they were all meant to be supplementary based techniques instead of offensive or even defensive she figured that gave her a bit of an edge with having to deal with the power loss.

As Jayr finished with another exhale, emptying out her lungs as she had done hundreds of times already today, she allowed her eyes to slowly open. She blinked slowly as her nearly red colored eyes focused on the waterfall and the pool of water she was facing. After allowing her eyes to adjust for a second and relaxing her straight spine she took the time to glance up at the sky to the sun. The sun's position in the sky allowed her to know that it was nearly two o'clock in the afternoon. Due to how much she had eaten that morning at breakfast she knew she likely wouldn't be hungry again for at least an hour: she had trained herself to not eat so much as the average person in case she were on a mission or in a situation to where food wasn't as available. Useful, and good training – yet another thing taught to her by her parents while she was growing up.

Jayr leaned backwards until she was laying on the grass and straightened out her legs so that she was laying completely flat and straight. The cushioned grass felt nice beneath her, and she simply allowed her body to completely relax from the pose it had been in for nearly six hours while she meditated on those jutsu she had mentally learned.

Nearby she could still hear the waterfall as it continued to flow and felt the urge to take a dip increasing: it had warmed up quite a bit while she had been out here, and given that the water was directly in the sunlight she knew it would be cool without being too cold – the perfect temperature for her to take a dip or maybe even swim for a while. As Jayr laid there she weighed the pros and cons of doing such a thing: she would either have to strip entirely naked or swim with her clothes on considering that she was in lace under garments. Decisions, decisions...

As Jayr continued to allow her mind and body to relax she debated within her mind what she wanted to do to wind down from that long period of meditation...

Deciding that a dip was the best plan Jayr sat back up and stretched her arms skyward until she heard a cracking sound. Sighing in a relaxed fashion she then got to her feet. Having decided to just go swimming in her clothing since it was mainly just a cami and shorts, and already having her shoes and stockings off, Jayr headed over to the waters edge.

She dipped her toes in as she tested the temperature of the water, and finding it to be pleasantly cool, stepped in. She had gotten a bit of sunburn during all of her meditation and training, and the cool water felt nice against it as she walked into the deepest area of the pool of water and completely submerged herself. She knew she would have to shower again when she got home but that was perfectly fine with her.

Jayr swam laps around the large pool before swimming her way over to the waterfall itself. Grinning to herself she dunked herself down and under the water, swimming underneath of the surface and underneath of the waterfall. She surfaced on the other side. Blinking in surprise Jayr found herself in front of a little hidden cave that she hadn't known was there. Letting the sense of adventure take over her she swam inside of it, curious to see what it was she was exactly going to find inside.

This was definitely going to be a nice way to wind down from learning so many jutsu, that was for sure....
