| - Mission Taken:
Mission name: Painting (Repeatable) Mission rank: D Objective: Paint the interior. Location: All Villages Reward: 1 Word = 1 Ryo | 100 Word Minimum Mission description: The interior of the Administrative Complex needs a fresh coat of paint. The old has already been stripped off, so all you have to do is slap on a decently even coat and you're well on your way to Ryo being added to your pocket. Mission details: The hallways of the Administrative Complex needs painted; it's a good few hours worth of work, but the ryo and the fact that the old paint has already been removed is well worth it. The walls are to be painted a light color (you get to choose the color), as evenly as possible. When you've finished you'll be rewarded.
Jayr looked down at the information to the latest assignment she had been given: the interior of a building in need of a serious paint job. Well, she was definitely changing before she did that: no way she was getting paint on her outfit if she could help it. Jayr threw her long blond hair back into a ponytail and then into a bun, ensuring that it too would be kept as paint free as possible, before she slipped on a pair of white overalls with a black undershirt. She tied the overalls down at her waist, keeping her in just the bottom half of them and the black tank. She grabbed her ear bud headphones off of her dresser and her MP3 player before she turned and walked out of the house. She headed to the building in question without pause, each step she took taking her closer and closer to it. As she walked in she took pause at both the air conditioning hitting her and the look of the walls. Apparently this wasn't going to be a quick and easy job: no, it looked like every single wall had been stripped free of paint and was in need of a fresh coat. Great. Well, she was sure she would be covered in paint by the end of this. She gave a nod to the receptionist who waved to her before pointing to the tarps and paint that were stacked neatly in the corner. “Let me know if you need anything, Miss Kyamalie.”“Got it.”, Jayr called over her shoulder as she walked over to her supplies. She started up her MP3 player as she walked and popped her ear buds into her ears, drowning out the rest of the sounds around her for the most part after she cranked up the volume and let the music take her. She grabbed a chisel and a stirrer and cracked open the nearest can of paint: it was a pretty cherry blossom color. She placed the lid back on and started laying out the tarps to ensure she didn't accidentally drip paint on the floors... Word Count: 356 / 100 | |

| Jayr was careful to ensure that the tarps were laid down right at the edges of the walls she would be starting with when it came to the painting. She then went over to the paint can she had opened and cracked it open again. She dropped the paint stirrer in and gave it a good mix before pouring some of it into one of the paint roller buckets. Once she was sure she had enough in she gently played the lid back onto the paint and picked up a brand new paint roller.
She ripped the plastic off the new roller, dipped it into the paint, ran it against the bumped that would remove the majority of the paint and keep it from dripping everywhere, and then got to work rolling the paint onto the walls. Up and down the roller moved and as it did so the paint was evenly coated onto the bare walls. Down the wall she worked, covering more and more as she went until almost all of the wall was covered with paint.
Following this she grabbed a ladder and a paint brush and took the open can with her. She dipped the paint brush into the can and carefully worked the brush along where the ceiling was, ensuring that she was careful enough not to get the ceiling covered in the new paint and make it look messy. She did this along the entire wall before putting the ladder aside and doing the same to the bottom portion of the wall, ensuring that the baseboard was kept white and beautiful and free of any paint drops: thank god for painters tape~.
Jayr completed this same pattern for all of the other walls within the building, first using the paint roller and often opening up more cans of paint, and then using a brush for the more finer detail, and always ensuring that she used painters tape and laid down the tarps to keep the floor and other areas neat and clear. When finished she threw the cans and used products away, gave a wave to the receptionist who nodded and smiled at her, and then left. Another job well done.
