Soft footfalls would announce the female's arrival to her own office. Reaching for the handle she planned to unlock it only to find it already ajar. Eyebrows raising in curiosity she walked in to find that her office was preoccupied by her best friend. Figuring that this was likely more than just a social visit she shut the door behind her and locked. Within the following minutes she was given the task to deliver a series of documents to a specific point outside of the village of Amagakure no Sato. Once arriving there she would find another ANBU team which she was to hand the documents off to. Yukine didn't bother asking questions, nor did she inquire as to what the documents pertained - if he wanted to tell her he would in his own time, it was simply how their friendship worked when it came to things like these. Besides, chances were she already knew what they were, she just hadn't put two and two together yet.

Yukine could have gone plains clothed, but she preferred her ANBU alter ego of Yami. It was nothing at all for her to get suited up in her ANBU attire, tucking the documents safely away in a good hiding spot on her person. Figuring that the door to her office was out since that would give her away too easily she took to the window after ensuring that no one was outside. She slipped out and then headed on her way, using the cover of darkness to mask her journey as she did. Her trip through the village, using the roof tops as a method of travel as she jumped from one to another and ran across them, went by in a very uneventful fashion. She slipped through the village gates without being given a second glance by the Jounin stationed there.

Once at the docks she took an airship to the lower level of the village and disembarked, ensuring she still had the documents safely hidden on her person. From there it was again easy sailing outside of the village - at least until she got nearly a mile away. She had been well aware of the person trailing her for some time, but had wanted to ensure to put as much distance as she dared between herself and the village before handling them: civilians seeing death and freaking out wasn't something she wanted to deal with this evening. Given the chances of a civilian being out this far, alone, at this time of night was low? She decided to stop and grin behind her mask. "I was wondering how long you'd follow me for.", she commented with the mask doing wonders to distort her voice so that even if it did happen to be someone she knew they would never know it was her beneath her uniform.

"Hand over the documents or die.", came the male voice from behind her. Yukine turned, seeing the male that matched the voice: he was rather young, in his late teens, and dressed in middle class attire. He didn't look all that strong, though he did look threatening as he was pointing a tanto at her. Shaking her head Yukine struck quickly; she had no intentions of dragging this man's death out when he was likely a puppet for someone else; and disarmed him. Deciding to use his own blade against him that's precisely what she did, running him through the heart effectively before laying his body on the ground.

With her enemy dispatched of Yukine continued on with her journey, heading the rest of the way to the meeting point where she found the ANBU team waiting. She passed the documents off in silence, both the ANBU team and herself taking off in an equally quick fashion. Yukine headed back to her office, which she slipped inside un-noticed before changing out of her uniform and back into the attire she had been wearing originally. She sat down in her chair just as her door opened and in walked her best friend: talk about timing.
