Description: With this technique, users replace their own body with some other object, generally with a block of wood, the moment an attack lands. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. From this, the user can use the lapse in the enemy's attention to attack or flee from the battlefield. Explosive tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. It's a basic ninjutsu even taught at the Academy, but it's a useful art that can be applied in variety of situations, as it allows for a swift getaway from danger.

Description: A technique usable only by those possessing Shadow seal within them; Granting them to enter any shadow, regardless of how dim it is, as long as it is casting a shadow and allows access to the shadow dimension; a world of pure darkness that is connected to every shadow cast. The user can pick any shadow and appear out of it as they can see out to where or who that shadow is connected to, allowing the choice, but it is limited and isn't instant teleportation as the user has to find the correct shadow to come out from. But this ability is mainly for getting around or avoiding attacks and repositioning to get a better angle of attack. Current requires ten chakra to use to get in and out of the shadow world (will change over time with training). While within the shadow dimension, you can move at 12m/s; once you find a shadow, it pulls you up and out in a few seconds, allowing the user to travel vast distances in seemingly little time at all.

Description: This is Luke's go to jutsu when using his shadow style; Luke can manifest either eight tentacles (four on each side) or four, large additional shadow arms that float with two floating either side of his shoulders and two floating just under his own arms, his tentacles can be used to wrap around opponents, used as whips or like ropes for other uses while the arms can grab and attack using strong punches (Strength equal to D3 in strength). the additional tentacles/arms can be cut off like regular body parts, although their skin is armoured with dragon-like scales, giving a D3 in endurance, they can be cut through, given a fast and hard cut to it or by a jutsu at C-rank or above. Although Luke can reform them but not instantly. each arm/tentacle lasts for about six posts, Reform takes two posts per part cut off/destroyed. Takes ten chakra to manifest, five to repair plus ten each post active and if not enough chakra is available, the shadow arms/tentacles will fade away by themselves.

However, it can be broken by a strong enough strike or by Jutsus of B-Rank and above. Its only purpose is to increase the length of Luke's blade and has no other abilities besides that.
