General Description: Mittens stands at an even 4 feet tall and weighs exactly 68 pounds. She has lightly tanned skin, and is rather thin. She has white hair that goes about halfway down her back, and golden colored eyes.

Her usual outfit consists of a white t-shirt with a dark gray vest over top. A pleated gray skirt with black stockings and black flats completes this outfit.



Personality: Happy. Bubbly. Upbeat. Cheerful. Merry. Elated. These are just a few words that can be used to describe the child. Despite her being born sickly she has never allowed that to stop her from having a very happy and positive out look on life and things in general. She sees this from the “the glass is half full” perspective. Despite being so young she is able to see the best in every situation, and delights in finding the “good” in every person.

She has a contagious smile, and an easy laugh that can often change the emotions and feelings in a room about for the better.

She's a very affectionate and kind child. She is the definition of the very word: caring. Whether it be a person or an animal she is always willing to lend a helping hand. Her compassion, despite her very young age, knows no bounds.

Mittens is very courageous. Even being as sickly as she often is she's not afraid to try new things, and she refuses to give in to the disease. She's willing to push herself further and harder simply because she knows that she will have to do more to reach the same area as everyone else. However, she never lets this stop her or stand in her way: she's determined to one day beat her sickness and rise as high as she can.

History: Mitsukai is one of the children of the Commander General Jai Kyamalie and Yang Nimashi, and younger sibling of twins Jayr and Kadima. Mitsukai was born only roughly a month before the death of her mother, Yang. While the family was already going through hard times due to the death of Yang, no more then two months later Mitsukai was diagnosed with a debilitating sickness. The doctors, though trying to stay positive, informed the family that Mitsukai was not expected to live past a year old and even that was pushing the boundaries of what they expected. Hopeful at best was what they called it.

However, Mitsukai, even as a baby, was a fighter. A year came and went, and then two, and then two and a half. By the time she was three years old the doctors were calling her a medical miracle. How her body was still alive, despite the sickness ravaging it, was anyone's guess. When asked her family simply replied that she was a fighter; and it was something that the doctors couldn't dispute.

Mitsukai was a very intelligent child even as a toddler, and while she couldn't participate in trainings and the like at first, she certainly loved to watch. Often she could be found sneaking out of the hospital, or avoiding some medical test, to come and watch her sisters or her father train and practice. She took no greater joy then imagining herself doing the same thing one day.

When it was Mitsukai's turn to learn it became apparent that what she lacked in physical skill she made up for with marksmanship. She could hit her target, easily, from over five hundred feet away and preferred weapons that granted her long range instead of fighting up close and personal. Given her sickness this worked to her advantage, allowing her to practice how to 'take care of business' from afar rather then close.

Despite the fact that she was learning, and becoming stronger, she still had to contend with the constant medical tests and treatments aimed at keeping her well while also attempting to find the underlying cause of this chronic sickness of hers. When her sister, Jayr, learned medical ninjutsu she took over as Mittens primary 'doctor'. Which, much to the great displeasure of the other hospital staff, meant that when her sister wasn't around Mitsukai could often be found 'escaping' to her father's office to hide: as she knew no one would dare bother the Commander General, let alone tell him that they had 'lost' his daughter once more.

I'll be right back with the nurse and we can get started.”, the doctor stated before the young looking man with the slicked back blond hair and the white lab coat turned and walked out of the room.

Mittens looked around, frowning. The IV had hurt enough, but a round of shots? She didn't mind it when her sister, Jayr, was the one giving them to her – she had a way to make the injection site numb so that it didn't hurt. But these guys? They wouldn't do that. That meant that each and every shot she had to be given was going to hurt: on top of however those chemicals and medicines were going to make her feel. She bit her bottom lip as she looked towards the bag of clear fluids her IV was hooked up to. She knew she couldn't remove the IV on her own – she had tried that once before and it didn't go well – and so she stood up on the bed and unhooked it from the IV pole.

Holding the bag like it was a purse she jumped down to the floor. After pausing to cough, covering her mouth and attempting to make as little noise as possible, she crept her way to the doorway of her hospital room. She peered out into the hallway and looked first to the left and then to the right: the doctor was busy bent over his desk, engrossed in a deep conversation with several other people. Biting her bottom lip she tip toed quickly and quietly out of her hospital room and across the hall. Once sure she wouldn't be spotted she turned the corner and headed down several doors until she got to the staircase. She glanced around again, ensuring that no one was watching her, before stepping into the stairwell and heading as quickly as possible down the steps. As she went she was careful to keep a hold on her IV bag, while ensuring that she didn't yank or pull on the tubing.

Once to the first floor she exited the stairwell and glanced around again. The receptionist was busy on the phone and so she waited until the perfect moment before sneaking by her and out the hospital doors. Once outside she paused to cough again, doubling over from the force of it and trying to keep her mouth covered. When the coughing fit was over she headed down the street quietly and quickly as possible.

A few blocks and she had made it to her destination: the building where her father, the Commander General, worked. She knew that the doctors and nursing staff would be looking for her, but they wouldn't dare search here. She went inside, waved with a smile to the receptionist, and then headed up the staircase that would lead directly to the floor her father's office was on. She paused several times, coughing fits overwhelming her, before she made it to the proper floor. Exiting the staircase she headed down the hall to a set of doors she knew all too well. She opened the door quietly and stepped inside. The door closed behind her... she had made it to her destination: her father's office.
