| Academy Name: Substitution Jutsu (Kawarimi no Jutsu - 変わり身の術) Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: D Type: Supplementary Element: / Range: / Specialty: / Duration: / Cooldown: 3 posts Description: With this technique, users replace their own body with some other object, generally with a block of wood, the moment an attack lands. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. From this, the user can use the lapse in the enemy's attention to attack or flee from the battlefield. Explosive tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. It's a basic ninjutsu even taught at the Academy, but it's a useful art that can be applied in variety of situations, as it allows for a swift getaway from danger. Name: Clone Technique (Bushin no Jutsu - 分身の術) Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: D Type: Supplementary Element: / Range: / Specialty: / Duration: - 5 chakra per post. Cooldown: Duration + 2 Description: A ninjutsu that creates an intangible copy of one's own body, without any substance. Since the clone itself doesn't have the ability to attack, and thus can only be used to confuse the enemy, it is mainly used in combination with other ninjutsu. It's a basic technique, but depending on one's ingenuity, it can be used effectively. The clones may not dissipate when they come into contact with something. These clones can be easily distinguished by persons with dōjutsu. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones do not have shadows and will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (i.e. won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.). Name: Transformation Jutsu (Henge no Jutsu - 変化の術) Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: D Type: Supplementary Element: / Range: / Specialty: / Duration: -10 chakra per post Cooldown: Duration + 4 Description: Given all the missions ninja are assigned to - battle, intelligence gathering, diversions - this is a priceless ninjutsu. It is typically used to change into people other than oneself, but one also has the ability to change into animals, plants, and even inanimate objects like weapons. This gives this technique an abundance of uses. The transformation of a skilled shinobi will be exactly like the genuine article, so it will be impossible to tell the two apart. On the other hand, a transformation performed by an inexperienced person will have obvious discrepancies. It will be impossible to deceive anyone with it. This is one of the most basic ninjutsu, as such most shinobi know how to perform it. Detection of this jutsu is related to you Reaction Ability Stat. If your REA stat is equal to or lower than the Rank of the person Transformed, you will not be able to detect that they are using a jutsu. If your REA is at least 1 sub-teir above that of the Transformed user, you will be able to see through the transformation. Name: Body Flicker Technique (Shunshin no Jutsu - 瞬身の術) Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: D Type: Supplementary Element: / Range: / Specialty: / Duration: / Cooldown: / Description: By using the Body Flicker Technique, a ninja can move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed.[2] To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance and elevation between the user and the intended destination. The Body Flicker Technique CANNOT BE USED IN COMBAT. It can only be used to enter, or leave, a thread. | |

| D Rank Name: Kanashibari no Jutsu (Temporary Paralysis Technique) Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: D Type: Supplementary Element: / Range: 20 meters Specialty: Ninjutsu Duration: Maximum of 5 posts Cooldown: Duration + 2 posts Description: A technique that physically restrains an opponent, as if the opponent had been tied in invisible steel ropes. It debilitates the victim for a short period of time, which allows the user to either strike again, or take the target into custody. This is a D-rank ninjutsu where the intensity will vary greatly according to the user's level of skill. This jutsu will only work on people who are your rank or lower. If used on someone of your rank, there is only a 50% chance of the jutsu succeeding. The jutsu can be cast on a maximum of 3 targets at once. Name: Ninja Art: Solar Flare Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: D Type: Supplementary Element: / Range: Short(0-5m), Mid(5-15m) Specialty: Ninjutsu Duration: / Cooldown: 3 posts Description: This jutsu requires no hand signs; instead the user raises their hands so that fingers are spread wide and the palm is flattened and facing inward, the tips of the middle and ring fingers touching the user's temple and face. The user then channels a burst of chakra to the hands, releasing it instantaneously as a blinding flash of light. The flash is bright enough to stun for 1 post and blind for 2 more post anyone standing within a fan shaped radius of 10 meters in front of the user. Name: Snap Spark Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: D Type: Supplementary Element: / Range: / Specialty: Ninjutsu OR Chakra Flow Duration: / Cooldown: 2 posts Description: An extremely simple jutsu in practice and function; the user merely focuses a small amount of chakra to the pad of the thumb of their dominant hand and then snaps their fingers normally. This causes a small burst of sparks to fall to the ground. This jutsu is meant to be a quick ignition source for other jutsu; but may also be used as a distraction. The sparks are no hotter then what fall from a child's sparkler and cause no damage; but the sting can make for a useful surprise. Name: Smokescreen Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: D Type: Supplementary Element: / Range: Short (0-5m) Specialty: Ninjutsu OR Chakra Flow Duration: 3 posts Cooldown: 5 posts Description: The user inhales deeply; mixing chakra in their lungs and throat to produce a thick cloud of black smoke over a specified area. Within the smoke cloud the visibility is reduced to less then three feet. The smoke is not-lethal; but it does sting the eyes and lungs; causing anyone caught in it to cough, wheeze, and tear up. Can be dispelled with a Wind jutsu of equal or higher rank. Name: Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique - (Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu - 魔幻・奈落見の術) Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: D Type: Supplementary Element: / Range: Short - (0-5 meters) Specialty: Genjutsu Duration: 3 posts Cooldown: 4 posts Description: This is a genjutsu that reveals the fears that dwell inside people's hearts. Everyone has an image of the one thing they wouldn't want to ever see. This genjutsu is a technique that draws forth such an image from within the heart and has one mistake it for reality. First, an imaginary circle of leaves will spin around and envelop the target, falling away shortly after. On the second post (having been affected), the illusion will begin. The target must be within the 5 meter radius to be affected and once the target has been affect by the Genjutsu, they will begin to see, hear and even feel their most horrific fears come to life before them. If the worst fear is tied to pain in some manner (burning, physical tourture, rape, etc), then this jutsu will break on it's own, due to it's inability to cause a pain response in the brain. Name: Hidden Mist Jutsu Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: D Type: Supplementary Element: Water Range: 20 meters Specialty: Ninjutsu Duration: -5 chakra per post Cooldown: duration + 5 posts Description: This displacement technique is a specialty of the ninja from areas with large sources of water nearby, where one causes a mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a per-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. Any Doujutsu with the ability to 'See' chakra can easily defeat the mists; as well as a sensor ninja of 2 ranks above the user. Name: Water Release: Hiding in Water Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: D Type: Supplementary Element: Water Range: / Specialty: Ninjutsu Duration: 5 post, -10 chakra per post after initial 5 Cooldown: 10 posts Description: Using this jutsu, a ninja is able to be concealed within water itself. The user may submerge in a body of water as small and shallow as a puddle. While submerged, the ninja is perfectly hidden, detectable only by sensors of 1 rank higher or more from the user; or a normal ninja of 2 ranks higher. Name: Water Release: Archerfish Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: D Type: Supplementary Element: Water Range: Short (0-5m) Specialty: Ninjutsu Duration: / Cooldown: 3 posts Description: This jutsu is nothing more then a simple jet of water; used to create the standing water for other, more advanced Water jutsu. The amount of water created is dependent on the User's rank. D-rank users would produce only a few gallons; C-rank up to 10 ft³ (Cubic Feet), B-rank 1 acre ft, A-rank 3 acre ft. This jutsu does have one other practical usage; it may be used to extinguish flames or fire jutsu; so long as the fire jutsu does not exceed the user's own rank; IE: the fire jutsu is C-Rank and the User of Archerfish is D-rank, the water would not be released in sufficient quantities to stop the fire. Name: Futon: Ryuusui [Wind Style : Stream] Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: D Type: Supplementary Element: Fuuton Range: 5 meters Specialty: Ninjutsu Duration: / Cooldown: 2 posts Description: A useful jutsu for manoeuvring mid-air, this technique is nothing more then a somewhat powerful, concentrated burst of wind from the user's mouth. Most commonly used to change direction quickly mid-air; this jutsu can be used to push the user away from a solid surface, slow the body in a fall/slide, or create a small cloud of dust or debris. Name: Wind Release: Wind Kunai Technique (Fūton: Kaze Kunai no Jutsu - 風遁: 風クナイ技術) Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: D Type: Offensive Element: Fuuton Range: 10 meters Specialty: Ninjutsu Duration: 1 post Cooldown: 3 posts Description: The user is able to create kunai made entirely of wind chakra, which they are able to throw up to 10 meters before the kunai disperse on their own. Each kunai is as powerful as a normal D-rank kunai, and the user is able to create 6 per usage of this jutsu. | |

| C Rank Name: Zenchi Te no Jutsu Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: C Type: Supplementary Element: / Range: Close Specialty: Medical Ninjutsu Duration: -5 Chakra per Post, up to 5 Posts Cooldown: 5 Posts Description: The user focuses a small to medium amount of chakra to their hands, allowing them to heal someones wound when they touch the area. This technique only works for surface wounds and non-serious injuries such as cuts, bruises, ect. The user may also heal themselves just as they would someone else, but again the jutsu can only heal surface wounds. This jutsu takes time to heal, and the larger the wound the longer it takes. If the wound is large then this technique can be used to partially heal it and make it smaller. Name: Sense Deprivation Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: C - A Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary Element: / Range: Close, Mid, Far Specialty: Medical Ninjutsu, Ninjutsu Duration: 2-5 Posts Cooldown: 4-10 Posts Description: The user places the pointer and middle finger of their left hand to their temple, concentrating either on themselves or their target. They send out a burst of chakra towards the sense they wish to stop, using medical knowledge to ensure that it's done safely and properly. This jutsu is used to cut a sense off entirely, whether that be sight, sound, taste, touch, or smell. Depending on the rank of the jutsu the user can cut off more than once sense. C Rank - Can only cut off 1 sense at a time. B Rank - Can cut off 2 senses at the same time. A Rank - Can cut off 3 senses at the same time. Name: Water Prison Jutsu (Suirō no Jutsu - 水牢の術) Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: C Type: Supplementary, Defensive Element: Suiton Range: Touch Specialty: Ninjutsu Duration: -10 chakra per post Cooldown: Duration + 3 Description: This technique is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This technique requires a sufficient amount of water, which can be provided by expelling it from one's mouth. Once trapped the target is unable to move while within it due to the heaviness of the water. Because of the density of the water it can be used, to a limited extent, for defensive purposes if performed on oneself. If used defensively, the prison can deflect up to 3 jutsu of lower rank before breaking. Any jutsu of equal or higher rank will instantly disperse the water. Any Raiton or electrified attacks would do damage equal to one rank higher then normal because of the excellent conductive nature of water itself, and the users wet skin. Of course this means the user himself would be shocked as well, and take damage equal to the rank of the jutsu itself. Because of the heavy nature of the water; the user's reflexes (dodge and movement speed) are reduced by 1 rank for the duration of the jutsu. Name: Water Release: Water Trumpet Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: C Type: Offensive, Supplementary Element: Water Range: Mid (5-15m) Specialty: Ninjutsu Duration: 1 post Cooldown: 3 posts Description: The user holds their hands to their face with a hand sign that forms a circle with their fingers, through which a jet of water is expelled at high pressure. The jet will travel for a maximum of 15 meters before losing all force and falling to the ground. The pressure of the water is enough to cause significant bruising, and the possibility of dislocated joints; if hit at a distance not to exceed 15 feet, and directly on an exposed joint such as the shoulder. May cause temporary blinding if the opponent it hit directly in the face at close range (<5 meters); at which the blinding would last no more then 3 posts. Name: Futon: Kazejuugan [Wind release: Air bullets] Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: C Type: Offensive Element: Wind Range: Short(0-5m), Mid(5-15m), Long(15m+) Speciality: Ninjutsu Duration: / Cooldown: 4 posts Description: The user holds out their hand, palm flat and facing upward, where they condense their chakra into several pressurised spheres of wind that the user spits out in rapid succession towards the opponent. These air bullets are transparent spheres, and are roughly 4 inches in diameter. When fired, they travel at roughly 50mph. The user can spawn up to six of these bullets at a time before cooldown is enforced. Direct impact by one of these spheres will knock the victim back several feet, tear through any clothing it hits and leaving behind 1/2in gashes over a 6in radius. If a bullet grazes the target, it can leave small lacerations on any exposed flesh it comes near. Name: Wind Prison Jutsu Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: C Type: Supplementary, defensive Element: Fuuton Range: Touch Specialty: Ninjutsu Duration: -10 chakra per post Cooldown: Duration + 3 Description: More akin to Ice Prsion than Water Prison, the Wind Prison jutsu is accomplished by wrapping the target in a thick sphere of typhoon force winds; rotating and counter-rotating wildly in a way that makes escape nearly impossible. Strong currents of air inside the prison keep the target suspended in the center, away from the walls that upon contact will cause moderate shreading injuries; 1/2in deep gashes and torn clothing. The user of the prison jutsu is immune to this effect as their hand is encased in chakra while maintaining the jutsu. This jutsu has excellent defensive properties; being able to deflect all small projectiles (Senbon, Shuriken, etc) and up to 5 equal or lower rank jutsu not of the Raiton variety. Piercing Raiton jutsu go right through the wind with no resitance at all. | |

| B Rank Name: Delicate illness Extraction Technique Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: B Type: Supplementary Element: - Range: Close Specialty: Ninjutsu, Medical Ninjutsu Duration: 2 posts Cooldown: 5 posts Description: When a person has been afflicted by a pathogen or toxin, this medical ninjutsu can be used to draw out the agent and heal the damage. The cause of the illness is first determined by perceiving disturbances in the patient's chakra. Then, using a chakra scalpel, (Post 1) an incision is made near the affected part. Using their chakra, the medical-nin pushes a large volume of a medicinal fluid through the incision. (Post 2) The fluid then draws the poison out of the affected part(s) and serves as a medium through which the poison is suspended and then forced out of the person's body. This technique thus removes the poison, while simultaneously repairing the damage caused by the poison. After the agent is drawn out, it can be used to create an antidote or medicine after it has been analyzed. This can then be given to the patient to ensure a complete recovery. This technique requires the utmost care and ability in diagnosis, incising and unmatched chakra control. Therefore, it is considered an extremely difficult technique, even among medical ninjutsu. (20 Chakra) Name: Kiss of the Dragon Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: B Type: Offensive Element: / Range: Close - Far Specialty: Medical Ninjutsu Duration: 1 Post Cooldown: 3 Posts Description: This is a "forbidden" technique among medical users because its only use is to kill. The medic nin sticks/throws a senbon with deadly accuracy at 35 miles per hour into the back of their victims neck, right at the top of the spine. This is done just right to stimulate all of the bodys blood to rush in that direction. This will almost instantly cause the side effects of quadriplegia (Post 1), followed by bleeding from the head's orifices (ears, nose, mouth, eyes)(Post 2), and then finally causing a very painful death due to a brain aneurysm if no medical help is given beforehand. (Post 3). Name: Shadow Clone Technique Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: B-rank Type: Supplementary Element: / Range: / Specialty: Ninjutsu Duration: Until the clone is destroyed, dispersed, or runs out of chakra Cooldown: Three posts after the last clone is destroyed. Description: Similar to the Clone Technique, this technique creates clones of the user. However, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The clones are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. They can also disperse on their own. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original. Shadow clones can't be distinguished from the actual person even by the Byakugan because the clones have the exact same amount of chakra and aren't made from any other substance. A characteristic that is unique to the Shadow Clone Technique is that any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. This makes the technique ideal for spying, since the user can simply send a clone to spy on a target, then have the clone disperse itself without returning to pass the information back to the user. (When making a Shadow Clone the user must spend 20 of their chakra per clone, however they may if they so choose give their clone more chakra. Example: If you want your clone to have 50 chakra then you must spend 20 chakra to make the clone and an additional 30 on top of that for the extra 30 chakra. Each clone otherwise will have 20 chakra unless given more - when the chakra is used up the clone will disappear.) Name: Water Release : Giant Bullet Ball Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: B Type: Offensive Element: Water Range: Short (0-5m), Mid (5-15m), Far (15m+) Specialty: Ninjutsu Duration: 1 post Cooldown: 4 posts Description: The user spits a very large, highly pressurized bullet of water from their mouth. The bullet ranges in size from roughly 2 inches to a maximum of 6 inches in diameter. The bullet moves at several dozen feet a second, making it difficult to dodge at close ranges. If preformed properly, the bullet exits the user's mouth with a spin like a bullet; hence the jutsu's name. This spin gives the bullet enhanced accuracy, much as the spin of a normal bullet would; enabling a sufficiently proficient user pinpoint accuracy and further decreasing the chances of evasion. The smaller the bullet fired; the greater the piercing power. A small bullet is meant to cause damage in a small area; punch through the body and take chunks of flesh with it in that way. A larger, thicker bullet however, is more lucky to cause crush injuries; breaking bones and causing major bruising and internal bleeding. The smallest bullets travel at 200 m/s; with the largest moving at a slower, but still impressive, 150 m/s. | |

The user concentrates corrupted ‘healing’ charka into their hands which glow a deep eerie green color. Whatever the user makes contact with then begins to rot and decay over three posts; which each post becoming worse until the third which results in death unless medical attention is received of A-Rank or higher to stop the spreading rot of decaying flesh and organs. Post 1: Decayed flesh within a six inches of the spot touched that penetrates a half inch deep. Post 2: The decaying continues to spread now consuming an area that is eighteen inches wide in all directions from the point of initial contact and two inches deep; at this point the blood begins to become tainted and the opponent will no longer have use of the area infected as muscles have deteriorated. Post 3: Death. At this point the vital organs themselves have begun to decay to the point of not being able to be healed or regenerated, resulting in death if medical attention has not been received by this point. Post 4: At this point if nothing has been done to stop the decaying process the body will break down into nothing; leaving nothing behind of the opponent and hindering any ability to bring the opponent back to life through any medical ninjutsu technique. Name: Mystical Palm Technique Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: A Type: Supplementary, Offensive Element: / Range: Close Specialty: Medical Ninjutsu Duration: 1 Post Cooldown: 4 Posts Description: This Medical Ninjutsu allows the user to speed up the body's natural healing process by sending chakra from their hands into a wound or afflicted body part. This allows the user to heal a patient without the need for medical equipment or surgery, making it highly useful on the battlefield. It can be used to treat both external and internal injuries. It is vital to match the amount of chakra used to the severity of the affliction or injury. This requires a great amount of chakra control, because of this only a few highly skilled Medical-Nin are able to use this technique. By sending an excess amount of chakra into the patient's brain the user can overload the patients normal circulation, trapping them in a comotose state. Name: Chakra Scalpal Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: A Type: Supplementary, Offensive Element: / Range: Close Specialty: Medical Ninjutsu Duration: -15 per Post Cooldown: Duration + 2 Description: This medical technique forms one's chakra into a small, sharp blade. This can then be used for highly accurate incisions necessary for surgeries and anatomical dissections. Unlike regular scalpels, the chakra scalpel can actually make cuts inside the body without actually creating an open wound, limiting the risks of an infection. The chakra scalpel can also be used offensively, although it requires great precision to be effective. Because of this requirement, using the chakra scalpel offensively is highly unusual. In heated combat, even the greatest medical-nin won't be able to exert the precision needed to make fatal cuts, but it can still effectively cut muscle tissues and tendons, rendering the target immobile. Adding to the technique's blade like quality, it also appears to give the user an increased level of durability over their chakra clad hands. (25 Chakra) Name: Body Pathway Derangement Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: A Type: Supplementary Element: / Range: Within Touch Specialty: Medical Ninjutsu Duration: 3 Posts Cooldown: 5 Posts Description: An extremely high-level technique, used as a medical ninjutsu. The human body is controlled with electrical signals from the brain, but a person who had those electrical signals cut off with this technique will become unable to make their body move as they want. By transforming the chakra within one's body and giving it the properties of electricity, one creates an electric field. As soon as a strike of the hand lands, electricity is poured into the enemy's nervous system, severing the signals and deranging their body control. The target's body moves in any way, except how they want it to move. For the common shinobi, battle, not to mention even just walking, will become impossible. Name: Cell Activation Technique Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: A Type: Supplementary Element: / Range: 0 - 5 Meters Specialty: Medical Ninjutsu Duration: 1 - 5 Posts Cooldown: Duration +2 Description: Used only in the most dire of surgical procedures to increase the patient's survival rate if even by a single percentage, this technique employs a great level of refined chakra control to simultaneously activate all the cells in a person's body. This is done in order to cause the body to be able to repair itself even while the medical-nin is operating, restoring damaged tissues, and bone structures while healing the target during more invasive and delicate procedures. | |
