Objective: Find and eliminate the rogue shinobi. Eliminate all 5 and bring back token of proof from each.
Location: All Villages

Mission description: Several members of the council have been receiving death threats from a group of missing ninja that once resided in the village. The missing ninja are also responsible for many kidnappings and murders, targeting those only from your village. They are believed to be stationed somewhere within the borders of the village. Discern their exact location and eliminate them before they impose a greater threat to your elders.

Bankai was still taking his morning tea and reading his favorite novel at home when a messenger came to him. He was young and he had ran fast and hard it seemed to the Lieutenant since he was out of breath. Bankai poured him some water and helped him to sit down at the table on the chair opposite to him and handed him the glass of water. When the man caught his breath he began to speak in haste.

"Bankai, I was told to bring this letter to you at once! Once you've read it they say you will know what to do. So hurry and read it please!" pleaded the messenger.

Bankai took the letter and opened the wax seal on it. They were not taking any chances; they wanted to make sure this letter was unseen by certain people, even this messenger. Considering the distance this man ran, he did pretty well on reaching here especially this time of the day when rush hour traffic would for sure arrive late at whatever destination they wanted to go. And this man ran such a long way, no doubt he was out of breath. Bankai got up from his seat and placed his neck slicing cleaver and jumped out of the open window and dashed on the rooftops of the city as he quickly made his way towards the main quarters of the military. He walked in the large oak doors and walked past the two sentries and they saluted him as he did so. He continued on his way along the carpeted corridors that were mostly silent because the rooms that were along the corridors were sound proof to keep eavesdroppers from doing their work. He came to the doors that led to the counsel room.

As he walked in members of the counsel, dressed in their traditional robes and all of them had sullen and angered looks on their faces. Others looked worried and others were solemn and Bankai noticed this. Treyze Kilic, head of the counsel stood behind his podium and was trying to regain order in the counsel chambers.

"My brothers, my brothers, hear me! There has been much murmuring among us. This situation is serious and I am fully aware of that. And it is with this sentiment that I have brought one of the elite soldiers before you all." said Treyze as he motioned towards where Bankai stood motionless, his face like porcelain as his blue glowing eyes looked at them all and he then bowed with respect. "Lieutenant Misaki Bankai is one of Hanagakure's finest soldiers and would make quick work of these rouges."

"I would say this once, honored members of the counsel; they are law breakers and I will do my best to cut down those that oppose Hanagkure. As long as there is breath in me, I will not allow these men to raise another finger against us." said Bankai.

His words were chilling as they resonated throughout the chambers. They all looked at him standing proud and confident of himself and knew that they could place all their faith in this young man. They had heard of the Lieutenant and how he dealt with those that did oppose Hanagakure. They heard of even today's slaying of the ninja that were seen bordering the village and it was Bankai who dealt with the enemies without any kind of remorse. And with the murders and kidnappings of his people, Bankai simply could not let this one slide past him as other missions had done. How dare these men, these betrayers lift their hands against their own countrymen? To Bankai this was an unforgivable sin.

"Of course Lieutenant no one knows their exact location so you are going to do some investigating of your own." said Treyze.

"Not a problem Kilic sama. They will be brought to justice."

"But, these are different to the ones you fought this morning Lieutenant. These are highly trained soldiers from Hanagakure. How is one soldier supposed to contend with so many? I mean, what are you going to do?" asked one of the counsel members.

"I am going to slay them all sir." he said coldly and the counsel man only looked at him.

Bankai knew what he had to do and he had a longing to do this; to hunt down his targets and eliminate them.

Meanwhile, four men; soldiers to be exact that once wore similar uniforms as Bankai did. But now, they wore different robes, dark in color and they were of a different make and mentality now than when they were soldiers of Hanagakure. They had taken three genin two girls and a boy. They were all around the same age and they were from the same genin team. They were taken while they were on a mission with their sensei and got separated from him and these pounced on them.

"What do you want with us?!" shouted the brunette girl.

"Oh no need to worry. All you need to know is, your going to help the cause."
"

"The cause? What cause? Just let us go and we wont let our superiors kill you all! Ah!" said the bald headed girl and the man gave her a back handed slap.

He hit her hard, maybe as hard as he could. He clearly did not like what she said to him because he glared at her and was breathing heavily. She also glared at him as she covered her now broken jaw with her hand. The others huddled together with her in an effort to comfort her and one of the other men pulled them away from her.

"That should keep your mouth shut you little bitch!" he snarled as he continued to glare at her. "I cant take this anymore Seiji! When can we harvest their chakra and eat their lifeless bodies?"

"In time Zado...in time. Just be patient and we will get everything. Soon Hanagakure will bow before us and then the other villages. Once we get to harness enough chakra then our plan will be complete."

"Youre gonna harvest our chakra and eat us? What the hell? You cant be serious!" shouted the boy in the group with the black hair. "We have our whole lives ahead of us. Why are you doing this to us? What has Hanagakure ever done to you?"

"What have they done to us? Its strange that you should ask that. The evil that they have done to us while we served them wholeheartedly is disgusting. But I will give you all the privilege to know why we have taken what we wanted and why we have taken you....."

The soldier thoughtfully gazed off into the distance as he gahtered his thoughts.

"So, the military of this city have taken our wives and executed them and for what? They were executed of witchcraft. I can't allow Hanagakure no sato to continue doing this because they started with my wife and also executed these men wives as well. And that is why they are with me." said Seiji as he looked at them and folded both of his arms.

The others wanted to tell him all sorts of things like he would never get away with it or he is an idiot for even thinking about such a thing or they were thinking that he acted like a little kid because he held onto a grudge for so long that it consumed them all. The little genin knew that someone would come for them but knew that they were well hidden and knew even Sargent level soldiers would have some problem with finding them here.

"Now we would take the lives of all the people who were involved in our wives execution and have our way with their bodies in ways that we told you about earlier."

"Yea like eating them and sucking their chakra out of their bodies. This is just crazy. If your story had any merit to it then someone from each of our families would have had something to do with your wives executions. As far as I know, no one from my family has ever had anything to do with those executions." said one of the genin. "Right or not, youre crazy to even be going through with all this. If your wives were women of character which i am sure that they were, they would never want this sort of thing to be done in their memory!"

While Seji stood there motionless because of suddenly being unsure of himself, Zado walked up the young genin and raised him up and pinned him to the wall of the cave. Blood started to flow but surprisingly very slowly from the wound. He left the sword in the boys' body and hung him there and watched him squirm under ther pain.

"Its strange that a person can feel so powerful by stabbing little children." said Bankai cooly.

With that they spun on their heels as Bankai was already in the cave hanging from the ceiling as he was using his chakra and looking down on them.

"Strange..." he said as he detached his feet from the ceiling and dropped silently to the cave floor.

Seiji stepped back while Zado and the three others took out their swords and prepared themselves for battle. Bankai just eyed them as he did not even bother to really prepare himself.

"Who are you? If you think you can come here and arrest us then you must be delusional." said Seiji

Bankai stood silent for a few moments as he thought about what Seiji said.

"A lowly soldier such as yourself should know the ways of Hanagakure. Keeping the citizenry safe from harm is a soldier's true mission. You have broken that fundamental law..." said Bankai as he drew his neck slicing cleaver from his back, "...I cannot allow you to live."

"A lieutenant eh? Not bad but out here, outside the walls of your precious village, we know no rank here. And you have no power or authority out here Lieutenant." sneered Zado as he and the others inched towards Bankai

"Zado, be careful of this one. He is not like the others." cautioned Seiji.

"Whatever, all I know is he can't urgh!" said Zado, his last words as cold broad and sharp steel pushed through their bodies and Bankai was holding his sword pushing his weapon through them all making blood fly all over the cave like crimson fire works. All that was left was Seiji and of course seeing Bankai's prowess in battle by slaying all his men made him think twice about his resolve.

"So, I dont even know your name. My name is..."

"It really does not matter to me what my next victim name is. I do not wish to bestow that honor upon you by letting your name be stored within my memories. Scum like you will be thrown in the lagoon of the ancient ruins, never to be heard of again."

With that Bankai slayed him as well and took their dog tags with him back to the counsel members who of course were thrilled to know that this threat was now over. Bankai was glad that he had the chance to show persons that Hanagakure is a place where law and order thrives and not those who are lawless.
