The barrier must be 2 ranks higher than that of the Katon related jutsu or weaponry to not be instantly consumed and broken. When used to capture and retrain targets, a jutsu or weapon of equal or higher rank to the user of the jutsu is required to escape.

This scent is caused by nearly microscopic pollen spores which enter the target's body via the mucus membranes of the nose, eyes, or lungs. Once the spores enter the body, the place the target under a nasty Genjutsu; which causes the target to believe they have been transported into a strawberry field. After a few seconds, the various strawberry plants mutate into demonic plant creatures with lash out and attack the user. This Genjutsu ends when the plant creatures devour the target. While this Genjutsu is active, the target is rendered totally stunned.

Once attached to the body, they begin to release an extremely potent toxin which causes the body to weaken at an alarming rate.
